The toys cats actually keep going back to are the ones they can pick up and take somewhere: anything too big or hard gets one investigative swipe and then ignored.
This is sized for carrying: soft enough to bite, light enough to bat across a floor, and shaped so your cat can hold it with their front paws while kicking with their back legs.
What you get, and why it matters
Catnip filled: the trigger that gets most cats engaged immediately.
Soft chewable build: safe for biting and wrestling, which is how cats really play.
Light and carryable: your cat can move it around, which is what makes a toy a favourite.
Avocado shape: easy to grip with front paws for the back-leg kick.
Small, soft, and carryable. That combination outperforms most expensive cat toys.
Common questions, answered
What if catnip does nothing for my cat?
Roughly a third of cats have no response at all. It's inherited. The soft chewable shape still works for them.
Does the catnip wear off?
It fades with time and exposure. Keep spares sealed in a bag to preserve them.
Is it suitable for kittens?
Yes, though kittens under about six months often don't react to catnip yet. They'll still play with it.
How do I know when to replace it?
Supervise play and remove it once the fabric tears or filling is exposed.
